FC at 10+ makes the PH test invalid. So hold off on any tweaked there until the FC is below 10.FC was 13 this morning. I have to go get muriatic acid to fix the pH/alk

Sorry my post was 'worthless without pics' but the platform will not allow me to post the pic of my collapsed pool, says they are too large. Idk why this was necessary to put on my post but I don't really want to recall that day, it was a horrible trauma for me after all the hard work we did. Smh.I'm not sure how to tag everyone who has helped me on this fantastic forum. I am sad to report that today my pool collapsed after 3 days of overflowing with pouring rain.( The rain did not cause it to collapse.) It looks like there was rust on the inside wall near the seam (the previous owners had buried the pool 8 inches). It just exploded.
2 threads. This one is the sad ending. It gets WAY better in the new thread where Gemini got another pool. And we will probably get to help setting it up. That journey NEVER gets old.I'm so confused right now.
Gotcha - more so was confused because Gemini quoted their own post which had the "this thread is worthless" emoji, but when I scrolled back up to said post that emoji isn't actually there or anywhere else for that matter. Then not-Gemini posted pics of a collapsed pool, but I'm not sure if those were Gemini's pics or Leebo was trying to show solidarity that Gemini isn't the only one to have a pool collapse. See how confused I am?!2 threads. This one is the sad ending. It gets WAY better in the new thread where Gemini got another pool. And we will probably get to help setting it up. Gemini emailed the pictures to Leebo so he could post them for him. We removed the emoji in the post. Then not-Gemini posted pics of a collapsed pool, but I'm not sure if those were Gemini's pics or Leebo was trying to show solidarity that Gemini isn't the only one to have a pool collapse. Thanks so much. I could not have done it without TFP members' knowledgeable support and help! We have ordered a brand new pool and it should arrive in about 7 days. We are getting the Mt. Loch 18' x 52" from Pool Warehouse. We had to shuffle and scrape some finances to get it but I'm thankful we were able to save the pump & filter and the Gorilla pad. The ladder was only a year old. We only have to replace the lower strainer where the PVC broke the housing and some connections. Glad we have already have some experience installing an agp and I think I got the water chemistry nailed lol.Really enjoyed reading your pool SLAM journey…you did such a fantastic job! Sorry to hear of the pool’s collapse.
yep that was my pool that collapsed! Our new one will be here soon. My hubby realized how awesome it is to have a pool and how bad it sucked when we didn't have it anymore lol! He felt it was his fault because we didn't level with sand or use pavers under the 'feet' so he vowed to replace the pool. I don't blame him at all; live & learn and move on. I was depressed as heck for a few weeks though, I covered my back door and wouldn't even go out in the back yard lol. I'm happy & excited now though! Coming soon-pics of the new pool!Gotcha - more so was confused because Gemini quoted their own post which had the "this thread is worthless" emoji, but when I scrolled back up to said post that emoji isn't actually there or anywhere else for that matter.
