When I pull the cleaner out of water after it is done cleaning, a lot of debris get released back into the water. What is the reason for it? TIA

Seriously though, in another post recently someone commented that there should be a one way flap that should prevent stuff from falling back into the pool when the robot is removed. Perhaps yours is damaged or not in the right position.

Lol! Thank you for you reply. Yes, there is a slot inside the filter basket that stays open during the cleaning and supposed to close upon removal. It is made of 2 flaps of fabric with metal rods inside. Not sure how it suppose to stay close to prevent spills back.
