    Iron test with Vit C - no change. Did remove some old staining not this step and floor. Guess next is salt, chlorine ....

    Yeah sequestrant and more recently going to use DE. I don't have or have used magnesium salt. Oddly I was looking at adding in mineral ....not convinced yet on making rhe move.

    No previous stain mentioned. The pool has overtime about 6 months accumulated stains. Mainly on the pool step, bottom of walls and around jets.     Hi have been slack with the reporting, I was doing a full stain removal. Not updating so dont take that too literal. My pool is pretty much balanced of late and updating when I remember.

    Hi All, I currently use a robot Trident Eco for my above ground. Works pretty good overall. Noticed lots of dust in the pool, something the robot can't do much with. Vacum to waste dumps a absolute Load of water from the pool, not ideal. So reluctant to do that, filtering isn't cutting it...

    Adding DE to Salt Water Pool ?

    Hi all, i read the article on adding DE to a salt water pool (cup or two) into skimmer to give the filter a boost. Odd question, but what size DE powder. Suppliers i have looked at seem to offer 3 or 4 types. Extra fine to coarse etc.

    Hooked up hose to return, mini fountain. CSI 0.08 now reduced PH once already, crrently back at 7.4 will check again next few hours. TA is holding at 125.

    Not sure on fill water yet....ill do that as next test. I do want to reduce TA but aeration is proving very slow and PH is not really moving from 7.4 yet...
