Which diameter PVC for a long run?

Ok. Thanks. I don't think adding another skimmer would be a good option. So with a single skimmer, a 3/4 hp Pump, 1-1/2" PVC would be good? Or still 2" with 3/4 hp pump?

Which diameter PVC for a long run?

Right. I guess I got a little hasty in throwing measurements around. I was measuring from the ground at the base of the pool where it sat last year. So the pump will actually still be at least a foot below the surface of the water.

Help with Pump and Filter hose leaks

Help with Pump and Filter hose leaks

Thanks for the reply. The first round, I did 3 layers. The second round, I did 2 layers. It seems improved, but still a constant drip from the largest connection between the pump and filter. Update: I stole some rubber washer rings from our old Intex system and used them on the gray hoses. This...

Help with Pump and Filter hose leaks

Hello all. First post, although I've been a member for a few years. Love this site. Graduated from Intex pools this year to a "real" above ground pool. Installed everything ourselves thanks to lots of reading through forums on this site and beyond. We have a Hydrotools pump and cartridge filter...
