    Copper level

We swam in a pool with a copper level of 1.0, do you think that posed any health risk? What if someone swallowed some of that water? Thankyou

    Copper level

No, I don't, never have. After reading the below article, I think I'll skip the idea. Will be refilling it with tap water. Experts say you shouldn't drink rainwater

Thankyou Is using rain water from a tank OK for a pool? I have a tank of approximately 12k litres. The tank water itself appears to be clean. Bad idea?

    Copper level

Hi all, just a question. My copper level is 0.7, iron at 0 The copper level isn't rising, last week it was 0.8. I think it's like this because a little while ago I added an algaecide (tropical something). I've decided to never use algaecide, sticking with cheap bleach. Any reason for...

    Cartridge Filter Advice

Hi guys, it's all sorted, very happy. Perlite with vacuuming to filter got rid of it. Very happy with it. No more dust. Even the water looks cleaner. A little bit of perlite goes a long way. Much thx

    Too much chlorine

Hi all, I've added a bit too much regular bleach in the pool. Currently FC is at 12. I've shut off my saltwater cell. Only pump running at normal schedule. With no chlorine being produced, how long will it take for the high chlorine to go down? How many days? I plan on adding water, to...

    Cartridge Filter Advice

Hi guys, it's fine dirt that goes through the filter. It's on the pool floor. It's not algae. My water is perfect, crystal clear no cloudiness, perfect. I do check it at a pool store, and they are actually really good (I know, hard to believe). They've told me it that it's dust and that a few...

    Cartridge Filter Advice

Hi, after spending so many hours and money trying to filter out super fine dust, I've given up on my sand filter. Tried it all and got nowhere. Will a cartridge filter filter out this fine dust? Is fine dust ever an issue with cartridge filters? Thankyou

    pool dust issue

Sand filter and sand was changed and still same issue. Used the best sand, proper sand for sand filter. Sand filter not trapping this super fine dirt. Vacuuming it on the filter setting makes it look clean for 12-24 hrs.

    pool dust issue

hey, it's dirt from the garden surrounding the pool. The lawn is patchy also. The last test was done 10 days ago and everything was good. It's not swim season here so I test it every 14 days.

    pool dust issue

Hi all, I have a 40,000 litre pool. I have a saltwater cell and a sand filter (filter is fairly new, no cracked lateral etc). My water test is perfect. I've slammed the pool, hoping that it might be algae, but it isn't. I've had this dust problem for a while now, and have slammed (properly)...
