We're in a stretch of hot, dry weather. It seems I'm adding a lot of water to the pool. I just topped it up a few days ago and it needs more now. How can I tell if its evaporation or a leak?

I will need to backwash my pool soon. How much DE will I need to add? Got a 25,000gal pool, Nautilus filter 96 gal per hour. 48 sq ft. One direction I read was "3 scoops." How much is a "scoop?"

Just finishing a round of Slam. I'll backwash and rinse the pump. Should I add some more DE after backwash? How can I tell if the pool opener guy put in enough?

HI. New to pool caretaking. Just opened. Pool guy cleaned the filter and added DE. The pump runs for an hour or so at about 10 psi. then it rises to above 15 to as high as 20 psi. so I shut it down. I let it rest for an hour or so, restart and pressure holds at about 10, but then rises up...

Should I get a pool maintenance journal? Any recommendations?
