I have an Intex Ultra Frame 12 x 24 pool. Need to replace my handheld vacuum (loved it until battery stopped holding the charge). Figured I'd go with an automatic one now. Liked the Polaris Vac Sweep 65 as it has the bag - have a lot of trees around the pool and don't want to clog up my filter...

Thanks...I do have them. Please clarify, in the schematic below it appears you just take off the strainer cover and insert the plug...correct? Will this hold with a lot of people in the pool?

Since installing the Hayward skimmer a few years back (and so happy we did - cleaner pool!), we just left the hoses and plunger valve attached with the valve closed. But just yesterday, one of the hoses sprung a small leak. Want to do something more permanent but simple.
