That’s my thinking too. The last pool we had built by a PB so startup was included, but all they did was literally come start the equipment and dump startup chemicals in.

We had shotcrete done on Friday July 19th, and I am not sure it looks ok. There are tons of “pits” and little holes all over it, some hairline cracks, and globs of excess shotcrete in different locations of the pool.

Did you use a company like BYOP? I downloaded Pool Studio and made 2 designs; 1 has a 7x7 hot tub, the other does not. Just not sure where to go from there.

Hi all, been a lurker here for a few weeks but really want to start on an OB and looking for some pointers. Do you guys recommend paying BYOP or just doing it all yourself? We have a design we love from a builder here but not sure where to go from here. Any help is much appreciated!
