If you keep pool water hi, and a large inflatable in the center of the pool, pitching the cover towards the sides, so that and rain or snow runs off, it would seem like your cover would not have too much stress on it.
There are many many things in this world that I know nothing about. But what’s the issue with getting a test kit shipped to Canada ?
What if you were to buy one from a 3rd party, such as eBay or Amazon ?
Seems as if it was made in a reasonable amount of time, installed on the day that was scheduled for, They showed up on time, and did the work in slightly over 4 hours? wow. I am impressed.
Good luck and enjoy
wow! That’s great about cleaning the impeller. I actually see the note your pool guy left , saying that’s what you needed or do. It’s in the photo.
Now you have to learn about hair nets. Yes, hair nets. You can buy 100 of them for like $7 on amazon. You put them in your skimmer baskets, and...

what he said.
"If you put your filter into "recirculate" mode, it will bypass the filter. If your flow returns to normal, you know the problem is the filter."
also, what was going on when the problem started?
Did you all of a sudden notice the low pressure, low flow and air in the returns...
