Return fitting stairs wall - broken and trying to replace.

I took the approach I mentioned above - did everything from the inside side. So it's not a perfect fix because the backing nut on the wall fitting is not there, as there was no way for me to get it without breaking the concrete. Inside on the stairs I used epoxy putty between the fitting and...

Return fitting stairs wall - broken and trying to replace.

Unfortunately - no access to behind, because it’s all under the concrete deck.

Return fitting stairs wall - broken and trying to replace.

Hi everyone, We're putting a new liner in - as part of that, going to refresh the return fittings, skimmer surround, etc. I've got a return in my fiberglass steps, which has always had a leak. Water from the pool leaking behind the return flange, confirmed with dye - and has been fine for...

Taylor Reagents - Toronto area - Group buy

Hi All, As we know the Taylor reagents can be tricky to find in Canada. I'm in Mississauga, and the discounters pool and spa store sells them locally. If anyone is interested in doing a group buy, I'd be happy to help organize. I'm in most need of the DPD Powder - they sell it in a 113g size...

    Taylor K2106 In Canada

It seems walmart.ca sells the Taylor kits - however they appear to be via a third party. shipping is not free, and adds a chunk to the cost. However it is an option if you're in need of a kit. Also Discounters Pool and Spa sells them - again much more expensive than they "should" be though.

    Aquarite - Low salt reported

Just looked at the diagnostics again. Instant salt reading is back up - so it definitely seems like the cell is wonky. I'm able to get a generic version of the T-15 for a significant discount over the original. I think I'll go that route unless there is a strong reason to go with the original...

    Aquarite - Low salt reported

I checked it while it was in the off position, cell voltage was 32.2. I checked 3 times over about 1.5 hours - always the same value. At that point I put it back to auto mode, and it seemed to be working again. Ran it for a few hours before turning off for the night. I turned it back on again...

    Aquarite - Low salt reported

Thanks for the reply. My one concern is the fact that things seemed to be working fine prior to the thermistor breaking, and being replaced. It was a new part from digikey, and I'm confident in my soldering skills - so pretty sure the replacement was successful. is it possible that the...

    Aquarite - Low salt reported

Hi All, My Auqarite SWG was working fine for most of this summer. I checked this weekend, and noticed that I was seeing the issue where the power light was not illuminated, and the generate light would be sporadic. At this point chlorine in the pool was very low. After some reading of the...
