Definitely SLAM. IT worked for me and I am grateful. Your pool will get confused if you SLAM and do what the pool store tells you. Its one or the other. I also found a nice pile of leaves in the middle of my pool that I could not get to - I had a friend go in and scoop it all out.

When does SLAM stop?

I have the stabilizer but the FC is high this morning. I added a gallon of liquid chlorine last night at about 5PM est. This morning I added water, brushed the walls, vacuumed to waste. The pool is clear and not cloudy, I could see the bottom where the little green things fell from the trees...

The more clear the pool gets, I can see algae on the walls, I am scrubbing the walls where I can see it now!

Guess what! I can now see to the bottom of the pool! I can see the vacuum head. Its not crystal clear but much much better! I was going to do another water test now, and let pump run all night.
