Dolphin cleaners work while automatic pool cover is closed?

I have an auto cover a use my dolphin all the time with the cover on. No issues. The typical move for me, I wake up, start the cleaner, drink coffee and have a bite, roll the cover back, and go for a swim in a spotless pool an hour later. Easy peasy!

    My results. Where to start.

What's the problem? Yeah pH is a little low, but that will change with SWCG. A full set of test results would be nice, but outta the chute, seems fine, go swimming!

    Purchasing hot tub ?..

SWG in a spa works great. I have a 750 gallon built-in. With SWG consistency is key. I have the ability to run the SWG for a specific amount of time, and what I have found, is I run the SWG @ 100% for for 30 mins with a 97 degree water temp every day, and my chlorine level stays fairly...

    Borates Question. Please Help!!

I wouldn't bother with borates in the spa, as the severe areatiation of a spa water, still allows the pH to rise. I have borates I my spa, only because if fill it from the pool with balanced/ sequestered water. I have not noticed any of the borate benefits in my spa. If you are still sold on...

You will never recoup the expense of a pool, but my favorite memories of my family involve the pool.

New Build In SC - Pretty sure it'll be fiberglass but would love some feedback.

I have had 1 gunite pool, and 2 fiberglass pools. The each have their own appeals. With gunite, you can customize the pool to the space available. With fiberglass, you are kinda stuck with certain manufacture's designs. Fiberglass is easier to care for, but gel-coat is susceptible to...

    Pool test logistics.....

I have two of these, one labeled pool, the other spa. I collect my samples, and go to the laundry room where my testing stuff is kept in a dedicated cupboard. Rinse everything in the mop sink. Convenient as most of my pool "chemicals" are kept in the laundry room as well, bleach, Borax...

Please I can't get my pool to be Clear and it's been 2 weeks!

DE is diatomaceous earth, and has the consistency of fine powder. It is the exoskeletal remains of diatoms, ocean dwelling microorganisms. Filter Fiber Stuff is a cellulose fiber used as replacement for DE. Better for the environment and lessens the chance of respiratory illness. Using the...

Please I can't get my pool to be Clear and it's been 2 weeks!

I use a cellulose fiber based DE alternative such as Jack's Filter Fiber Stuff in my cartridge filters. Dose according to instructions. Not only does it filter the water more thoroughly, but it makes cleaning the cartridges easier. Gunk sticks to the fiber, not the filter media.
