Hello James when you say the seal do you mean the shaft seal? At first I didn't swap the shaft seal because it was only 4 months old but then I started the motor and I heard that noise so I disconnected it and changed the shaft seal and the noise was still their upon start up.

Okay so the OEM jandy guts didnt fix the problem. Before i consider changing the one entire jandy spring valve or calling a pool person over is there anything anyone else can recommend to test or diagnose my spa draining issue?

Okay so i plugged both drains in the spa and it still drained but when i plugged the two outlets that are on the spa walls it did not drain. Hello Jim, Yes it is a waterfall when in normal operation. So when you say remove the drain cove and plug it which one are you referring to because there are two drains. Im assuming you mean the one on the floor and not the wall?
