IC40 replaced flow control switch still says low salt

Thanks, yeah I usually just clean it out with a hard jet from my hose but I was out of ideas at this point. It runs daily, usually at 40% output. Sometimes 20% in the winter months and 60% in the summer.

IC40 replaced flow control switch still says low salt

Yep when it starts I get the red/green back and forth for about 2 minutes before it stays solid. Right after I replaced the flow control switch, it stayed solid green so I was excited that it worked. The next day and every day after, back to solid red. It’s definitely the low salt light and...

IC40 replaced flow control switch still says low salt

Light has been red showing low salt for a few days. Titration test was 3600, add a bag anyways to get it to 3800. Replaced flow control switch and it went green on startup, thought I actually fixed something. Next two days I go out there and it’s red again. Cell is only 4 years old and shows...

    Intellibrite stopped working (both lights)

Hi there, my pool is almost 4 years old now (time flies!) and when I push the button in the intellibrite box to turn on the lights (which work both the pool and the spa light) neither turn on. No breakers are flipped or anything, but I have no idea what to look at. Is there some fuse in the...

    Calcium hardness issue

i'll buy a speed stir and give that a try, thanks! No, I have never used Cal Hypo. I have never even had to add a bag of shock since it was built. Just following the instructions on this forum, it really has been a trouble free experience.

    Calcium hardness issue

Hey there, Been a while since I posted (which is a good thing, thanks to this forum!) I am on year two of my pool and managing the chemistry pretty well. My only issue is CH. THe first year it was pretty consistent around 475-550, as the initial fill was pretty hard well water. Eventually...

1.5 year old IC-40 acting up and scale question

Thank you mknauss! Good to know, I will just use water pressure going forward to clean the SWG. Is it recommended to use softened water going forward to reduce further calcium?

1.5 year old IC-40 acting up and scale question

Hi there, seeing some funkiness in my FC levels and wanted to posts on here and get some advice. Normally I keep my FC around 5-6 consistently, and my IC-40 runs at 40% output during the summer. I can usually drop it to 20% with a longer run time in the winter and everything is all good...

Thanks to this site! Haven’t added a bag of shock all year.

Hi there, my pool is officially one year old and I’ve been using TFP techniques for the entire year. I’m in Central Florida so the rain related issues algae issues can be intense (as seen in friends pools) but my water has been clear all year, and as the title mentions, not a single dose of...

Why lower range for SWCG TA?

Hi there, I searched for this but couldn't find what I was looking for, so my apologies if this has been discussed at length, but I was curious why the recommendation for a SWCG is to run TA in the 60-80 range vs. the 80-120 commonly referred to by the manufacturer and pool finish companies...
