Just to give a 3.5 year update. I've left the pool up, filled to nearly the top, not covered, every year since. I have the Steel sided AGP now, and I even left the stairs in this year to freeze. No issues!

Hmm, i'll have to look at my bottles. I would never have noticed that. I use Pro-Clor 12.5% from menards - and looking at the bottle it appears you're correct. Crazy!

I guess I disagree with that. All my bottles have a spill-proof adhesive seal under the cap. Its definitely not breathable.

Ok - perfect - that's what was important to me - that it report correctly - and not that somehow, it would show 5ppm CL and not be as effective as fresh chlorine. Thank you!

Hey Everyone - Just stumbled across this AIPER pool cleaner on amazon (link below), and it got me thinking - maybe I should get a robot. I have an 18' round hard sided AGP with stairs. Is it too small for a robot, would I be wasting my money? Should I get one that climbs the sides? I see...

I just don't understand how it would be doing that. What would I even look for? When i used the 1 micron bag to completely clean the pool, the stuff still showed up the day after too.

I have the same issue - thinking it was dirt / silt. I can vac most of it, my chlorine is stable and under control. I had a bloom early last year, but got it under control. Took the stairs out and scrubbed them. I do leave the pool up over the winter (this is North Dakota, so it does freeze...

Sounds like the min. the heater needs for flow is 20gpm, my TACO will do 15gpm max. So we'll see...
