    Green Gunk on Heater, SWG

Thanks! Could I treat this the same way I would cleaning scale off SWG? Soak it in a bath of diluted muriatic acid?

    Green Gunk on Heater, SWG

If and when I am adding chlorine, I use Mega Super Shock 12.5% Sodium Hypochlorite. I have not used algaecide at all since opening last Spring.

    Green Gunk on Heater, SWG

Anyone seen this colored scale build up before? Does anyone know what it implies in the context of water chemistry? I am planning on cleaning these items with muriatic acid before opening this coming week.

Drain Blow Out - Only One Side Has Bubbles

Got it, thanks! The inverse of this...the side of the drain that is not showing bubbles, does that mean this side has less suction, or zero suction, pulling water back to filter?

Drain Blow Out - Only One Side Has Bubbles

Thanks. Trying to understand, new to pool ownership. Even if the they tie together in a Y, shouldn't the air being blown through from pad still exit from both pipes after the single pipe splits into Y? At what point and why does air only find its way out of just one of the drain pipes?

New SWG PLC1400 Jandy - Not producing chlorine after 24 hours boost

Fired up Aquapure SWG PLC 1400 for first time after getting salinity right. Put in Boost mode for 24 hours. Chlorine was barely produced. Computer at panel says "Chlorine production" and "flow". Im pretty sure it is wired and operating correctly. No visible algae, water is crystal clear...
