Can you tell me more about Hubitat and how it works? Right now I'm primarily using Apple Home to control automations. I have about 40 Philips Hue lights, a couple Meross light switches, Meross garage door openers, & ecobee thermostats.
Ok thanks for the info. Not just the sun but also snow, ice, miserably cold weather, etc. I think I will remove it, as I don't see a downside in doing so.
I really like the Core35. Very easy to operate and maintained chlorine level very well.
First year closing the pool with the Core35 SWG. Per the instructions, it says the control module can be left out all winter, which seems a little odd since the weather can get a bit chilly around here in northern Chicago.

I went with the Hayward Tristar 2.7HP VS.... not that happy with it. The motor drive unit crapped out after only a few months. After doing some research, seems to be a common problem. Luckily still was under warranty.

Maybe just my lack of knowledge on this, but the one I have is a thicker, not-so-flimsy mesh. All the ones I’ve found are more like a mesh netting...
