Can you tell me more about Hubitat and how it works? Right now I'm primarily using Apple Home to control automations. I have about 40 Philips Hue lights, a couple Meross light switches, Meross garage door openers, & ecobee thermostats.

Ok thanks for the info. Not just the sun but also snow, ice, miserably cold weather, etc. I think I will remove it, as I don't see a downside in doing so. I really like the Core35. Very easy to operate and maintained chlorine level very well.

Another item that needs testing is the current salt level in the water. Make sure she buys a testing kit for that as well.

If you have them seal it with a non-glossy flat sealer, it does not get that slippery IMO. Most contractors will use a glossy sealer by default.

I've had this same question. I am playing around with mine right now as I just added a SWG. It really depends on your setup, outside conditions, SWG, peak electricity rate hours, etc. In my area, peak electricity rates are between 9AM-7PM, so I am trying to avoid running my pump very much...

Same here. Bought our house last year and it came with a pool. First time we have ever owned one. It is a learning curve and can be confusing at times, but once you get the hang of it and learn how your pool functions, it gets easier. This site has been a big help!

After dropping to 25% on the SWG, FC came in at 4.5. So I am going to kick it back up to 50% then adjust the pump timers so they are not running as much. Not dialed in yet, but getting close! But overall very happy I made the switch.
