    Second-hand Pentair EasyTouch

Wondering if I should pick this up for $500. Less than a year old. Might be worth it since I have no automation system today. But it would need to be complete. I would need to confirm it has: Power box (pictured) Four Relays (what do these look like?) Two auto valve actuators for suction/return...

30k gallon pool - Christmas Heating Experience

The pool was 88 by afternoon swim, and 90 by the evening which was very comfortable in the 40 degree weather we had. Had 6 adults and 8 kids in there for hours. (y) Heater did great and I ended up at about 41% full on my tank. Will order refill today and make sure my FC is in a good spot. Pool...

No, but my guess is that I'm down about an inch (maybe slightly under) in the last 24 hrs.

30k gallon pool - Christmas Heating Experience

Have family in town, and have been wanting to attempt a whole-pool heat since we got the heater a year ago. I started it 10:00 AM yesterday (23 hours running so far) and I'm +27 degrees this morning. Started at 56, and targeting 90 in pool, and 98 in hot tub. Doesn't help we had one of our...

Replacing broken check valve in tight plumbing

It's a spillover. This is the single spillover return line that is in the spa. I would like to put a jandy in there, but need to double check what orientation they need to be at. The water direction is downward in that pipe

Replacing broken check valve in tight plumbing

My spa drains back into the pool overnight. I suspect this check valve, which appears to have been replaced before, is the problem. It's in a tight spot plumbing-wise, so I'm curious if it's possible to remove the PVC elbow from the jandy 3 way valve, and reconnect a new fitting into a new...

    Water in J-Box

Maybe drill small hole in PVC at lowest point between blower and check valve for a drain in case anything accumulates.

    It's hoooott. Pool fountain helping?

I have a hose bib I can turn on/off near the output side of my pump. The pressure pushes the water up and out the PVC.
