I was able to get a 4-point tire iron behind the light and pulled hard enough and it came loose. Pulling it out the rest of the way was easy. Installation was easy. I left enough slack cable behind the light to make it easier next time.

I am in OKC too. The freeze protection of the alternating the spa and pool wasn't keeping up and the pool was freezing up. I turned the heater on and set it to 40 degrees with the pool running 24/7. So far no problems.

If you getting air bubbles, your leak is on the suction side of the pump. Like you said you have to change all the seals. Don't forget the seals in your actuators. There are 2 small O-rings and a larger cover seal in each one.
