Walmart lied again and said it was stocked at my location but wasn't. Home Depot and Lowes are out in my county. I went to the Lowes one county over which claimed to have 50 gallons. They lied, they only had four and one was leaking. So, I got three...and those look like they were buried and...

128 oz of 10% bleach is $8.98 in my area. That's a FC increase of 5 ppm in 20K gallons. The equivalent amount of 65% cal-hypo is 21 oz. At $0.34 / ounce that comes to $7.14. Actually, that's the price for 68% which skews it in favor of cal-hypo a bit more. The fact that LC weakens can skew...

That's what I thought at first, but I have a link saved to the one gallon and I double-checked it yesterday. It was definitely marked up but is back down to $5.67 today. It is cheaper to just use cal-hypo right now.

Also, Walmart was completely out of unscented cleaning bleach.

Walmart price just shot up to $11.40 / gallon today. It shows as being in stock at my location but isn't (again).

I see the SW conversion as being risky not knowing what bleach prices will be during that "payback" period. It's really an unsupported, bold claim without any supporting analysis of why bleach prices have more than doubled in just a few years.

The TFP herd seems to be moving to the SWG pastures. I'll look at that next year, this year I'm going to focused on getting it covered and closed. Was there a run on these supplies or something? Where I live, it's worse right now than in 2020. There isn't an explanation that I've found...
