7mm per test adds up when you’re doing them regularly!

Oooof, need to up my game a little then I guess! I was thinking once a month, that seems reasonable, maybe more if it’s being used frequently needing regular top ups.

I added the salt and my FC level dropped quite a bit - is that to be expected?

I just realised I don't have any way to measure the weight of the salt....but I have jugs to measure liquids. So, googling around gives me the ratio of 1/0.866 which means 8kg of salt would be 6928 millitires. Does that sounds about right? And, just out of interest, why would I go to 1000ppm...

Ok, so measure salt now and then add enough (using pool math to say 1000 pp and see where we're at)? How do I measure salt, strips?
