A Houston Pool Build Inside the Loop

Yeah a sewer running right through it would cause a problem! LOL

nini, I LOVE how much everyone can learn just by reading other's posts. You will have to keep an eye out as I have found I forgot what I told one person and NOT told another person. It gets hard to keep up with at times :(

We can contract with their plumber to have the sewer line moved. The biggest issue will be where the pool equipment will go. We want it behind the garage since there is no easement indicated on the survey but we are pretty sure we have a 5' easement. Will be interesting to see what the city says.

I don't think we'll have any gas line issues and the power line runs overhead at the back of the lot.

Yes! Just keeping up with the different threads is difficult and I find I get them mixed up, especially since I can't be on here everyday.

I'd put the equipment as far away and hidden from the pool as possible so you don't have to see or hear it.

What an awesome use of your yard! I love it! I like the sitting wall by the fire! That is going to be like a spa with it being right by the fire! NICE!

The planter behind the raised wall is a nice touch! Do you know what you will put in it yet?

How does hubby feel about it?

I am excited for you!

I will post all of the details later which I would like feedback on just to make sure everything is okay.

I do know he thinks one pool light will be sufficient plus we will have 2 small uplights on the bench between the water spouts. I THINK this should be enough light, but what do y'all think?

Just wondering...do you anticipate having the fire going while people are sitting in the bench? Just wondering about the heat for those sitting on the bench directly in front of the firepit. Probably not an issue though...

I heard they don't cost any money to run so long as you thoroughly enjoy them!
