I suspect them willingly giving it up so easy, says you paid for it and they were hoping for some freebies. I would think sanding while not noticeable from certain angles will allow water to pool in those areas?
I see your inspector! Sorry inspector no walking on the fresh concrete for a while! All though a carefully placed paw print would be cute!

Haha! People constructed, dog approved.
Just out of curiosity, do you already have a natural gas grill? My pool doesn't use gas, but while they were doing all the construction I figured I would just hire a plumber to run a gas line to my patio for a NG grill. It was ridiculously expensive, but it was one of the best upgrades I've ever done.
This is going to look so good. I know I said it before but every time I look at your house brick - I really love the mortared look and then the corresponding stone choices for the pool - so well pulled together. I can't wait to see the decking - I think you will be very happy with the amount you have done and the width's you have in various areas for chairs and passage of people. And it totally looks like your dog is checking out the decking forms for approval. Good girl! -Karen
That coping is so sharp looking!
looking awesome Pigiron!
Hey, I don't know if I mentioned it -- but I'm probably getting a reputation for it -- make sure the decking guys extend your overfill line past the deck or they will bury it and render it useless. I didn't see it anywhere in your pics so yeah, go check!!!
Nice! Looking good and getting closer!
I'm assuming with them finishing the wash on the sides, that you will step down from the pool deck to the rest of the yard and it won't be graded up level?
Agree, looks sharp. What size cedar posts are those? Hard to tell in pics sometimes.
That looks so nice! I love the shape of your deck.
Will you make it longer? How will you make sure it does not wash out where it comes out?
