I started to notice a lot of brown spots on the pebble from areas that leaves are not getting picked up quickly enough. I tried brushing the areas and that didn’t work. How do I get rid of these stains?

Organic staining should eventually lighten and go away with a slightly elevated FC level. Refer to the FC/CYA Levels to ensure your are first in the appropriate (ideal) FC zone, then consider raising it by an additional 3-4 ppm for a few days. If the stains still don't go away, consider rubbing a stain with a chlorine tab or sprinkle some cal-hypo granules on it as a test just to ensure it is indeed organic.

CYA is out of range. Waiting for calcium increaser to increase the CYA. I also recently started adding liquid chlorine as the temp is too low for the SWG to make chlorine. Do I just scrub the brown spots off after getting CYA back to the appropriate level?

Calcium increaser has no effect on stabilizer/CYA.

If you need more stabilizer/CYA then get it dissolving in your pool.

If the brown spots scrub off then do it.

Low CYA does not mean you should let your FC get low. Add more FC as needed until you get CYA in the water.

Increased the CYA and FC to proper levels. Still have the brown spots that are likely from leaves sitting on the pebble. I have tried scrubbing them off but they wont come off. What do you suggest?
