Hi all, I'm having an issue where my pump immediately turns off when the automated schedule switches to Spa. Same goes for when I manually switch to Spa mode, as shown in the video.

Once I switch back to Pool, the pump works like it should. My workaround have been manually adjusting the intake and discharge valves to circulate the spa, and that works fine.

I can't think of an event or change that would have caused this.

Would greatly appreciate any guidance on how to fix this. Thank you!!

Who,

Does it switch off while the valves move or does it not work in the spa mode at all??

Assuming it never works in the spa mode, then you most likely have no pump speed assigned to the Spa Circuit.

Thanks,

Jim R.

Thanks for the quick input Jim.

It doesn't work at all in spa mode. Unfortunately since it won't run in Spa mode, it doesn't give me an option to adjust the pump speed in the app. Once I turn on Spa mode in the app, it doesn't show me the options for adjusting pump speed and Chemistry. It's strange. Has me wondering if I need to reset the Pentair control system.

Who,

For the pump to run, speeds have to be programmed into the automation..

Why can't you use the display on the IntelliCenter?

Let's ask Allen to walk you through it... Calling @ajw22

Here are my speeds from an EasyTouch.. just so you can see what I am talking about.. They will have a different format, but will do the same thing..

Thanks,

Jim R.

Can you use Intellicenter2.com? It is easier doing programming on the system then on the app or at the panel.

You need to go to SETTINGS ->SYSTEM CONFIGURATION->PUMPS were you will see this page.

If you don't see CIRCUIT-SPA with a speed then click on ADD CIRCUIT on the green box at the bottom and add it. Then set a speed for the spa.

You can do the same from the app or the panel.

Thanks again! This did the trick! I found my way to the system set up and re-added the Spa to the Pump and voila!

Thanks for helping a noob :)

Greatly appreciate you sharing this! I didn't realize I could use the website.
I accessed it from the panel and the issue is that for some odd reason the Spa was deleted from the Pump configuration.
Any reason why that would happen? Firmware updates or anything like that?
