Intellivalve Programming with Intellicenter 2

Recently had my equipment replaced and added the Intellicenter 2 with Intellivalves for a Pool/Spa set-up with Pool/Spa Mode and 2 Features Spillway/Air Blower.

Installer is very non-responsive and while everything “works” the return valve is programmed backwards: Pool mode activates the Intake from the pool but returns to the spa, Spa Mode activates Intake from Spa and return to pool (will drain spa) and Spillway activates Intake from Pool and Return to Pool.

Does anyone have any good resources how I can reverse this? I found some YouTube videos but they seem to focus on the IntelliValve programming which seems to be fine (setting 0/24) the issue is which body is 0 vs 24 on the return only as the intake is set properly.

Thanks

You have to reset the HOME position - refer to page 9 on the manual.

Welcome to TFP.

Put the IntelliCenter in SERVICE MODE.

Then on both IntelliValves press the red arrow and yellow arrow simultaneously to flip the valves around.

Wow... I have never seen the IntelliValve in person, and had 'assumed' it had the standard 3-way switch..

Boy, was I wrong!!! I learn something new here every day...

Thanks,

Jim R.
No handle to show you position of the IntelliValve at a glance.
No manual way of turning the valve without removing the actuator.
No toggle switch to flip the position.

I am not thrilled with the IntelliValve and prefer the old style actuator.

Thanks TFP community. I’ve been lurking for a while and keeping my pool crystal clear. This was the first time I had a specific question and this worked brilliantly and took 2 minutes

Allen,

I agree 100%.. I have very simple pool, with just one standard actuator...

I am a Pentair kind of guy, but when it goes bad, the replacement will not be an IntelliValve.

Thanks,
