Running into an odd problem with Pentair Screenlogic

G'afternoon all,

I'm running into some oddities with the screen logic system, so I'd like to get some feedback. So what has happened so far

1. every once in a while, a program would randomly start that is not on schedule. Such as SPA kicking in at 10 pm for no reason.
2. Biggest issue is the lights in the pool and SPA are no longer in sync and the SPA lights seem to be flicking/changing random colors. The pool seems "ok"

My initial thought was to do a factory reset and re-program everything to see if that helps, but I'd like to get some feedback if anyone else faced issues like this before.

ScreenLogic, by itself does not do much.. It just passes commands from you to the EasyTouch. The EasyTouch is where all the commands are stored and acted upon.

I suspect your problems are with the EasyTouch and not ScreenLogic.

Do you have a wired Spa side remote??

Negative, I do not have a spa side remote. Is it needed? So when I say factory reset, it would be resetting EasyTouch at the panel, not ScreenLogic

You do not need a spa side remote, they are just known for going bad, and causing unwanted and intermittent actions..

I would suggest that before you do a factory reset on the EasyTouch, that you take screenshots of all you set-up pages, so you can reinstall things faster.

It won't hurt anything to Erase your memory, but it just means everything will have to be set up again. It is not like it just deletes your schedules, it wipes out everything....
