Just got done mowing the lawn and sitting down with my Polar Black Cherry Seltzer. I could down a gallon of this stuff. What's your favorite seltzer if you have one? Used to be Poland Spring Black Cherry but Polar kills it.

So the Mrs was on the seltzers for a long time. Then they gave her kidney stones and she went cold turkey like nobody ever saw.

We like a light flavor over here and the Shoprite brand "Bowl and Basket" fits the bill. We don't care for all the flavors but do have our favorites like lemon and lime, orange and raspberry. Don't drink it often but if we remember and it's on sale we'll pick it up. There used to be another brand that Shoprite carried that we liked but they just disappeared from the shelf.

The nonalcoholic seltzer gave her a kidney stone? How is that possible its carbonated water? Wow, would love to know the details on that.

When the hospotal Dr's were going through all the possible causes, the only recent change that fit was the seltzer. They spefically asked about soda and it took a bit for her to realize they were asking because of the carbonization, not the sugar and other additives. We are heavy water drinkers and she had switched to seltzer 6 months earlier for some flavoring drinking 2 one liter bottles a day. Nothing was proven of course, but that's what the Drs settled on as the likely cause. Knock on wood it's been several years with no new stones.

Wow, that is good to know. I have one or two cans a day so nowhere near the 2 liter quantity but still good to know. Glad to hear she hasn't had a repeat.

There are a couple of types of kidney stones, wonder which type she had?

I like Bubly. I only have 1 or 2 cans a day, 3-4 times a week.
