IntelliCenter WiFi issue

Did your Intellicenter come with a WiFi antenna or the wireless kit? Older Intellicenter kits were shipped with the wireless kit. The wireless kit won’t show up as a wifi network. It has to be plugged into a router. I ran into that problem with mine.

Mine came with everything panel and both wireless antennas. The outdoor one and the indoor one too

If you have an indoor and outdoor antenna, that sounds like the wireless kit. The WiFI antenna is only one antenna connected to the Intellicenter. Do you have the indoor antenna plugged into a router with a Cat 5 cable?

Which app are you using? There’s an Intellicenter2 app and a Pentair Home app. The Intellicenter2 app should show your system as a “local” system. The Home app probably won’t work. Pentair has to “migrate” your Intellicenter over to the Home app.

Yes it is and the power cable as well

So the thing is that apart from the WiFi . I tried creating new account on the panel and it just times out.

It is apart from the WiFi. The wireless kit interfaces with your router. Then you can access your system via WiFi through your router connection. The Intellicenter panel itself is not connected via WiFi and the panel will not recognize a WiFi network. Are you using the Intellicenter2 app? If you are, is your device (phone, IPad, etc) connected to the same WiFi network as your router?

Yes but when I try to connect on panel it just loads until it times out . I’m using an iPhone and IntelliCenter 2

Do the Internet Connection Test on the outdoor panel.

See page 85 in https://www.pentair.com/content/dam...als---user-docs/intellicenter-users-guide.pdf

Do not do "Connect to Wireless Network"

If using the Pentair High Power Wireless Link kit skip to the Internet Connection Test. It should show you are connected. Then register the user using the OCP.

Once you pass the Internet Connection Test then On Add New Account - remove your address. They don't need to know it. Put in your email, name, and password and press the check on the upper right. See if it asks for anything else. Give it the minimum they require.

Review this thread where I walked someone through the Wirelrss Link setup…

So I did this and it says it’s connected but yet I can’t make a login . Do you know why it times out

Good. Your panel is online then.

We need to get you connected locally using the local systems IP address and logged into the Pentair cloud for remote control.
