My pool sevice company notified me of a pin hole leak in the PVC coming into the booster pump for my Polaris 3900 Sport. Attached is a grainy picture they shared with me. They wanted $300 to repair, which felt really high. It seems to me, that i would just need to cut behind current valve, install new valve + small PVC fitting into a coupler that attaches to the black booster pump fitting. Feels like it should be 30 minutes (maybe less) of labor and $10-$20 in parts? Am I missing something?
Any guidance on the parts I'd need to order (Amazon? Local plumbing supply? or are they specialty)?
Thanks in advance.
