Gunk...

Your PoolMath logs are showing to me. Great job!

Keep going. CC is concerning...shows you are battling!!!

Scrub EVERYTHING!!! Check and add FC/Liquic Chlorine every couple hours and it will go faster...

Morning...how's everything looking? It's dark so I can't verify algae growth or existence but I hope it's gone this morning.

Lost roughly 3 PPM today when I arrived home. And 1 larger brown algae spot and a few smaller ones.
Still working on it..maybe tonight with final FC test of the day and another night of SLAM it will be 1 or less and no algae 🙏

I'm assuming that you work outside the home. I would test and replace FC every hour that your ARE home and awake. I would stay up as late as you can to test and replace FC. Longer intervals between testing and replacing extend the SLAM significantly.

Yes and I travel on the road sometimes but am home eventually. Wish I could get the dog to do something besides napping under a blanket all day. 😂
I will do it every hour this evening until bedtime then again bright and early tomorrow.

Getting a little low on R-0871 as only received 1 bottle in the test kid but 2 of the R-0870 powder.
And a bottle and a half left of R-0013.
Is this the best place to order instead of Amazon?
I would buy from TFT. I have bought from both TFTestkits and Amazon. TF will guarantee freshness for a year. I have had expiration dates from amazon that are 4 months out upon arrival. I'm not affiliated with TFT or TFP other than being a guide on TFP. I get ZERO remuneration. Buy from TFtestkits.net.

They are located in North Carolina so you should get your stuff pretty quickly too.
Order is complete. I did the SLAM replacement just to have more.
I compared the pool calculator here for gallons of water to other websites- low and behold I am off if it's really 18,500-18,800 gallons of water. I had 16,500 before. Which of course has messed up some LC calculations then when adding to 20 FC slam.

Yikes. Over.

The error of the test is +/- 1 drop or .5 FC with 10ml sample. Don't fret. It is about maintaining a higher level FC to kill the algae. You are fine! Carry on!!!!

The best way to determine your pool volume: When NOT in SLAM mode, test and add FC, pump running. Test again 30 minutes later. If your addition matches expectations, you pool volume is correct. If your test is HIGHER than you expected, reduce your pool volume in Pool Math by 500 gallons. If your result is LOWER than expected, increase your pool volume in Pool Math by 500 gallons. Rinse, repeat until your addition matches your expected results.

One brown spot sure is persistent. Usually gets to the size of a dime to then a quarter in 3-6 hours and overnight maybe 5" round. Only a few other spots with small algae. Hopefully with brushing it (over and over that one spot) will get it up and out of here soon..$200 in chlorine in 4 days 😬🫣
