T cell issue help

Hello! I just replaced my T Cell 15 on my Hayward aquarite and I do not have an option to see if the Tcell is set to 15. My board only gives me an 88-1 option where the Tcell option should be. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks!

Here’s another post describing a similar situation

Aqua Rite 20 salt display wrong but cell is good. Won’t recalibrate.

Pool was installed in 2007 with Aqua Rite 20. The salt level reads 1700 but it tests 3100. The panel won’t reset. I had the t-cell 5 tested and it is good. We did the acid wash and it is clean. I am unable to verify what cell the panel is set for. The diagnostic screen won’t display the option...

There is not an option for it. After software revision it skips right back to the beginning average salt level.

You have a non-Hayward board.

Open up the box and show us pics of the board in it.

What is the actual salinity and what is the salinity reading from the box?

If the readings are the same, the cell selection is correct.

Actual is 3000 but it’s reading 6000

The salinity reading is probably pretty accurate.

Your salinity test is probably not accurate.

Lower the salinity until the amperage is in the 6.5 to 7.0 range.
