We will be installing a water bowl which has a 2.5" hole in the center and the PVC pipe is 1.5". What is the best way to seal that? I googled this for a while but couldn't find a good solution. The only thing I found is a seal kit from slick rock for their bowls but that is too small to seal a 2.5" hole.

Doing a quick search it appears many people just run the pipe thru the hole, cap it with a tee to prevent the bubbler effect, then fill the hole with hydraulic cement

I kind of like the bulkhead option better but unfortunately it looks like it wouldn't cover the 2.5" hole. When going with hydraulic cement does it stay in place even with kids holding on to the bowl or will it crack easily?

The bulkhead I linked said it required a 2.375" hole so it should cover? It's amazon so no harm in trying 😁

JT Bulkhead Fittings (1-1/2" FPT x Slip) https://a.co/d/9gYruUF
Just saw that. I will give that a try. Just trying to find a bulkhead which is slip on at the bottom and threads on the top so I can screw in a bubbler insert.
Looks like they have fpt x slip and slip x fpt ...but can't tell which is which lol
