Yeah I'm renting it. Sadly, the pictures on Airbnb showed the pool in the same condition. We knew what we were getting.

I seriously have the urge to test the water of any pool I’m thinking about getting into. I guess I’m a true TFP’er. I definitely would not SLAM the Airbnb’s pool tho. But if they didn’t tell you the pool was unswimmable (is that a word?) and it’s part of the reason you booked, I would request a partial refund.

Yeah, no, don’t touch it. It’s the owners mess to clean up, not yours. As the old saying goes - “You break it, you buy it!”

Yeah, I have no intention of touching it literally and figuratively. We rented the house as a base camp for doing some mountain biking in the DFW area. It's not a big loss to us that the pool isn't usable.

I hope it was a steal of a deal compared to other listings in the area - that’s terrible to even look at! It’s also a hazard, if someone fell in you wouldn’t be able to see them to get them out. It’s a hard pass for me. For what people charge for air bnb’s having a swamp in the backyard is pretty ridiculous.
Side note- If it has a hot tub I wouldn’t touch it with a 10ft pole no matter how clean it “looks”.

No hot tub. We didn't spend any time in the back yard either. Mostly at the house to sleep and store bikes. Some pics from Friday, the first day of riding.

Your bike looks like it can handle the terrain at speed when downhill. Going up that would require good focus, great balance and a high confidence level. Nice,

Revel makes a great bike. I am quite happy with my niner though. As cumbersome as it may look to take uphill, it's quite the opposite. I am usually passing folks on the climbs. It does quite well on the downhills too. Its a very well balanced bike.
