Ahh gotcha. Just filtering. And yes I have a SWG as well.The pump runs for a purpose like skimming, running a heater or SWG etc.

You can drop the speed down to just enough to allow the SWG to work with a little bit extra for margin.
Thanks JamesW! Does flow rate factor into what the pump speed should be set to? For my 13,500g pool, I calculated my flow rate to be 28gpm.
So I changed the speed of my pump from 3450 to 2000 and my filter psi dropped from 25psi to 10psi, which is expected I suppose. One thing that I noticed, which I don't believe I've seen before, is tiny bubbles coming out of my return jets. A quick search on this forum led me to look for the obvious culprits. I didn't find any obvious air leaks. The only suspect was a giant air bubble in the filter basket. Maybe it was always there. I never really paid much attention to it before. With the pump running at its highest speed before it was always kind of a whirlpool in there. Thoughts or concerns?

The SWCG creates hydrogen gas. Those are the bubbles you are seeing.
