IntelliCenter 2.006 Firmware

Anyone else noticing issues with their schedules not working now that you've updated the FW?

My pool lights are scheduled to come on at sunset and they have not, the past 2 nights.

My IFCS circuit has not turned off either.

I deleted and reloaded the pool lights and cleaner circuit and will see if I have any issues now.

I have the same issue. Only my lighting schedules, where I have set them to go on at sunset have this issue. IntelliCenter now sets “sunset” to 12:00am. Only option is to not use sunset/sunrise feature and set an actual time ☹️hopefully they fix it soon …

My lights came on at sunset today.

It would be nice to have notes on what has been changed…

I did an OTA update for my Beach House yesterday (triggered from the app) but I did this from 600km away. A major mistake as the OTA update works for the main panel but any secondary / slave panels need to be updated manually. I managed to get someone to go in and update one of the panels but apparently the update blanked the USB after running the install file so he has to go back tomorrow with a USB and do the final slave panel…. I lost lots of functionality with only one of the three panels updated. While I got functionality back today, none of it was important so I am really looking forward to getting the last panel updated and working again tomorrow.

The new iOS app does look much nicer and the colours are finally looking more professional. The iPhone app changes are much better than the iPad changes (my view).

While I have seen some bug fixes, there are 4 significant bugs (at least in my setup) which are still present (I reported the first 2 yesterday), namely:

1. The heat setpoints for the spa and pool (my system is a Celsius system) in schedules are all wrong (for instance 3 implies 38). This problem arose in the iOS update a couple of months back. The setpoints work fine on the main screen in the App and in the schedules on the main panel (problem is simply within schedules in the iOS app). If I change the 3 to 38 in a schedule on the iOS app then the control panel shows 99 and I get serious overheating of the spa! Same problem on pool setpoints that are in a schedule.

2. Lighting on my second and third panels does not always change colours reliably (probably a comms issue) but does change perfectly on the main panel. As I have 21 lights, issues like this are not cool as I sometimes have some lights changing to blue (as they should while others erroneously change to green).

3. The vacation checkbox in the Advanced Settings defaults to unchecked after a power cut, system reset or version update!

4. I cannot edit (or even see) the circuits linked to my two 4 button remotes in the iOS app so have to edit these on the main panel. This also broke in one of the more recent iOS updates.

Now that I have typed up points 3 and 4, i will probably send these to Pentair also. Admittedly, I haven’t tested point 4 on the new version yet! Maybe that has been fixed - fingers crossed.

My schedules are still all jacked up this evening. I think I figured it out. I finally went back out to the main panel and rebooted it. After the reboot I got a screen that indicated a hard reset was performed, check clock settings. When I kicked it to internet for the clock settings, it finally turned on my pool lights and turned off my cleaner circuit. Not sure what time the thing thought it was but hopefully that was my issue.

I discovered an issue with my schedule as well. My daily schedule ends at 6:30 with a 30 min spa run. At 6:30 instead of completely shutting off like it should, it switches back to Pool. It then runs indefinitely until I manually shut it off.

I just added a 6:30 - 6:35 pool run with the hope it will then shut it off comp;lately.

Anyone else’s daily schedule end with a SPA run?

I have picked up a serious schedule issue… if I add a new vacation schedule (via the web interface or via the iOS app - I am not at the house so can’t try via the main panel), it adds the schedule to the list of normal schedules and not to the list of vacation schedules. is anyone else seeing the same thing?

Went in last night to turn on the spa and the whole system froze up requiring a reboot. Once rebooted, the spa was completely gone. Rebooted again and the spa came back but all spa settings where gone (spa pump speed/heater mode etc)

I lost 4 schedules as part of the update (2 vacation and 2 normal) both were schedules that related to circuits on slave boards which seems to be why they were lost. The update (which has to be done Board by board) does not seem to function properly when there are multiple boards in play. The period with different boards on different versions seems to result in chaos.

I wish there was a way to reboot the boards remotely although based on your post, I suspect I might have more chaos if I did that!

And for today's edition of "beta testing pentair firmware update"
Spa spillover is broken with the 2.06 update ...and a known issue...and you can't roll back to 1.6x once you've gone to 2.06

Refer to post #19. Pool must be turned on for spillover to function now.

Interesting enough my 7pm spillway did come on. The difference with the 7pm is that pool mode is off from 5-7 so at 7 pool and spillway activate simultaneously. The spillway feature shut off at 715 in the app/panel but it did not activate the intellivalve to switch back to pool returns. When I manually shut off pool mode then the actuator returned to pool return. Turned pool back on and it stayed there so I'll have to experiment with a schedule shutting off pool for a minute before spillway activates then shutting off pool when spillway shutsoff then turning pool on again 🤦‍♂️

Have you rebooted your local panel? I had weird stuff happening with timing of things because apparently the clock was wonky and I didn't realize it. Just make sure to eliminate that. Double check the clock settings.
