I wasn't too concerned, all the guys working on the dig have 40+ years of experience digging pools. I did measure though, and it seems to be pretty spot on given it's just the rough overdig. The stakes they have in place though are within an inch with my rudimentary measuring skills.Do you have your spec sheet and tape measure ready by the door? As soon as they say "done" run out there and measure it all! Now saying that I am betting it is going to be spot on from what I see in that digging so far but I tend to trust yet verify.
The instructions just weren't very descriptive, one pager, and the parts weren't labeled very well. They wanted a little more detail but figured it out though, just took a few choice words. The directions said something they did not want to do or were not very complete?
I don’t think I’ve mentioned it so you didn’t miss it. My neighbor is waiting on the snake PB, still trusts him for some reason. Was promised he would be the first install in the spring. Yeah, right! There is no way the PB can build for the pool for what he quoted my neighbor. However, my neighbor didn’t want to pay more to get it done now with the other PB I went with. I wouldn’t be surprised if my neighbor just cancelled their contract and didn’t get a pool.very exciting, so happy for you. unless i missed it somewhere but whatever happened to your neighbors pool who signed with same builder?
Yes, a whole different level of confidence. Did run into issue, old PB way shorted us on bolts/nuts, but current PB said not to bother he had spares already.I just want to be there when the time comes that you find yourself at PBs. It will happen for a part or gasket or jug of MA eventually.
But.
You'll be waltzing in there with a whole different level of confidence now. Maybe even too much.

But I wanna see it.
It’s just the pic, I’ve checked it multiple times and talked to PB couple times about it. It’s level with my patio at the house which is required per code/site plan approved by city. Like yours, I knew it sloped but didn’t realize I have a 2 foot drop from my house to the back of the property. It does look awfully deceptive though. From this angle, the pool looks fairly above grade. Is it just the pic , or are you going raised like I did ?
