Good afternoon, im almost done with my pool construction, builder came out today and started the pool, but the person that came said that they have no idea how to work with the automation, that they will try to find someone to deal with it but it could take weeks, so i want to set at least some minimum automation on it. it consists on a RS4 and a iQ30 Web connect device. So i started reading some of the documentation and online research and was able to configure the iQ30 to connect to my wifi network, was able to set the iAquaLink app and register it. I also figure out what each of the AUX were connected to and changed the labels, AUX 1 i set it to be an LED controller and i can pick colors, so so far good.

My question is for the RS485 devices do i need to configure something withing the app? in my case one RS485 is my heater and the other one is my pump

The most important part is to program your VS pump. Which one do you have? It is easier if you work on your computer it is easier. There is a iAquaLink website that uses your same credentials as your app.
On Home Screen, go to System Setup, then select VSP Setup. For pump #1 this is your main filter pump. Select the model of pump you are using and continue to follow the steps where it ask you to select Speed Setup. For now do not change any of the labels but adjust speeds that you wish for various functions. These labels will transfer over to your schedule screen when you select days and times for each speed setting.
There is a manual online under Jandy to download.
Also, please confirm if you have a pressure side cleaner with its separate booster pump as this requires some dip switches to be set.
It is unfortunate that the PB cannot get you the basics. However there is enough of us on the forum that have the iAquaLink system so just ask. Also take a screen shot of any screen you are having issues with so we know what you are seeing.
Overall it is a good system but very important to have it set up properly. Glad you got the wireless working as thai is key to access the system to set up.

i have a Jandy ePump 2.7HP

Great. So follow the setup process shown earlier and select your ePump. Come back if any questions.

You don’t show to have a booster pump so no need to mess with dipswitch on the board.
Thanks for your help so far @HermanTX . Is there a way to quickly change the pump speed? For example when using my spa blower i need to lower my rpms is there a way of doing so without changing it at the schedule screen?

You can use the app to connect a pump rpm setting to any function controlled by a relay. There are some useful videos on YouTube about details (and some junk; look for a few). Also, the iAquaLink manual is not perfect, but not bad. Studying it is recommended. Finally, if you go to the "other devices" screen in the app, there's one for "VSP1 Spd" (after you've done the pump setup). That will bring up the menu of speed settings for manual adjustment.

See the photo. Note the 3rd icon called VSP Spd Adj. That brings up a menu of all speeds you have pre-programmed when you set up the pump. So you just press the speed you want and the pump ramps up. It will stay at that newly selected speed until you change it or it will change speeds based on your schedule. I find this Spd Adj icon very helpful if I wish to skim extra time while I am swimming. Very easy and convenient
