IMG_9992.jpegI had a question about what you all recommend for positioning of the eye of the return. Two issues that I have are the the one jet on the left is imbedded in the plaster. It's at the corner of the sitting ledge and wall. I'm unable to reposition the direction so it just shoots straight out. The other issue is that the pool wall, opposite the main drain, has no return jets. the dimensions of the pool is 30' x 15'. From some internet reading the jets should be positioned all in the same direction as to create a vortex. Also that the eye should be positioned in a way that there is barely visible ripple on the surface of the water. So, 1) What direction should you position the other 3 jets (clockwise or counter clockwise) 2) Is the that correct with it pointing in a way that it causes a slight ripple on the surface?

Do you recommend that it be pointed in a way that it barely causes ripples on the surface?
A little surface movement is great if it helps everything go to the skimmer or close to it. As long as the rippling isn't so strong that it's causing the pH to rise (via aeration) it's fine.
