My pool was replastered several years ago with a pebbletek type plaster and have never been happy with the looks. Looking at the picture it’s looks to have a gray covering over some of the white with blue dots.
My question does it need acid washing to remove the gray covering?

The plaster guy said he acid washed it 4 years ago but has since gone of of business.

Thanks for the info Allen, sounds like It is what it is at this point.

To me, it looks like grey colored plaster that is losing its' color and turning white in various areas. Am I wrong? Is it really white plaster? If the original plaster is grey, then the following article might be the issue at hand.

I think your right, my wife said it was suppose to be a light gray with the blue specs in it.
I complained when they first did it and they said it needed acid washing and think that made it worse.
I can live with the color part, just as long as the actual plaster hold up
Thanks
