I found an older post about a foam party, and had the same concerns about it seeing the bottom of the pool. I won’t do it with humans.

Howevvvvvvvver. I just bought a foam machine to use in our yard for my dog boarding and daycare business. Once the pool is open, I know dogs will have foam on them and then go in the pool. I will not be setting up the foam to go directly in the pool.

Anything specific to look for when it comes to the ‘solution’ to use? Or any other advice? Is this just a terrible idea that my judgement is clouded because OMG FOAM AND DOGS HOW FUN!? :laughblue::laughblue:

If u must - just have sprinklers for them to run through before making their way to the pool. That should cut it down a bit.

As a side note -> foam = soap, ingesting soap leads to unpleasant tummy issues. Humans generally won’t ingest foam but i know my dog probably (definitely) would! I wouldn’t want to deal with the aftermath of one dog’s foam eating party much less many…

Good on you seeing the safety aspect of it upfront.

But. Here me out. Leash the kids. The boys won’t care and will pretend they are astronauts on a space walk.

If you lose sight of them you won’t be gently tugging on the leash……. ‘Mission control’ is giving them a new assignment. Like fixing the space return jets in the shallow end. ;)

What about properly secured life vests so the boys couldn’t go under if they wanted to ? Attach some ropes just for the pretend astronaut fun aspect.

Sprinkler, excellent idea!

Astronaut hoses - GENIUS! But seriously, I like the life vest idea. Maybe we'll try it with just our boys one day and see how it goes. They are still trying to convince me they can make it if they jump off the deck...

I kid you not...for my bubble machine, they make bacon and PB flavored bubble solution. LOL!

Is it March yet? Winter sucks.

That is all. LOL
At least you got to make all those memories this season to help keep you warm and fuzzy through the winter. Last year they gave you a beautiful bundle of joy and promptly made you put it away for 5 months. So there is that. 😁

To semi stay on topic we lost power last year for a few days and I took a bath ( yes I was in a bathing suit ) in the attached spa I just used a little shampoo but it caused some sud's and seems like they lasted over a month.
