Is it ok to leave SWG on when water temp is too cold?

This is my first season with a SWG. I have the Circupool RJ45+ installed in May. I've adjusted down to 12-hour pump/SWG run time and at 5% power, which is expected as we have lower chlorine demand now. This is keeping chlorine levels perfect. However, now it's getting to where the water temp in the morning is just below the operating temp of the SWG (63 this morning and the SWG cuts off at 65). It's blinking the generate light and complaining about the water temp, as expected. My question is if it's ok to leave it in that state and just let it start generating when the water warms up (it's going to be sunny and 75 today so it will warm up) or if I should disable the SWG now and go back to manually adding liquid chlorine. My main concern is damaging the cell. I have historically not closed down the pool until water temp stays consistently below 60, so not quite there yet.

I do shut mine off once the water temp stays below the cold water cut off..

Do you replace it with a dummy or leave the SWG in the plumbing when off?

This is the first winter for my cell and it is still going strong at water temps below 63f. Keeping a close eye on it.

I just leave the Cell in place, I just turn the power off..

For simplicity I turn my SWG entirely off when the water is too cold and dose with liquid chlorine as needed. Save electricity too maybe? The chlorine lasts such a long time and I only test every 2-4 weeks in the fall/winter and never have had a problem.
Note though that I do have an autocover so I'm sure that contributes to the ever-so-slow loss of FC. I like the pool to be open a lot though!

Either works. Some are easy to unplug. For the others, 0% does the same thing and they will still have power but not produce.

Either will work.. In my case I have a circuit breaker just for the SWCG's power supply, so I just turn that off..

My water temp is at 58f now and the SWCG is still producing. Only 25% for 6 hours a day.

When the temps do finally stay steady below SWG operating temps, I generally just turn my module off and leave the cell in place. But be prepared to remove the cell if you lose power for an extended period of time if you are below freezing.

Your Intellichlor will quit at 52F water temperature, give or take a degree.
