SLAM has nothing to do with the SWCG creating scale. I assume you are running your SWCG during the SLAM Process
My ta has been in low 100s could that be an issue? Then it is not making that scale! Something is not right as stated earlier.
Wouldn't it just be by the returns if it was just from swg?Not if the SWCG is off. It is the only device that makes that kind of scale. You are absolutely sure you are not adding any solid chlorine products.
Can you take a sample of the substance and put it on a white surface and get as clear a picture as possible? Something seems off about it.
So just calcium compounds, not if it was an organic? Any other metals? It will react to various calcium scale compounds with varying orders of reaction. Calcium carbonate is the most violent. Then calcium sulfate, calcium phosphate, etc.
I do now....and it was before. It was right as we opened pool and I didn't add any phdown until well after opening pool.Acid corrodes metals. Did this start when you started using the sodium bisulfate? You do know that product will destroy the SWCG, right?
Pool manufacturer says muratic acid makes calcium fall out of suspension and you say phdown destroys the swg. Not saying your wrong. Just hard to know what to do at times.Acid corrodes metals. Did this start when you started using the sodium bisulfate? You do know that product will destroy the SWCG, right?
No sirDo you have any other odd equipment not listed in your signature? Anode, ionizer, etc?
I doubt that anyone says that.Pool manufacturer says muratic acid makes calcium fall out of suspension
