We have a brandnew Hayward Powerflo Matrix 2 speed pump installed April 2020 by a professional electrician. Everything was working fine until yesterday when I noticed that the pump won’t work on High Speed. But it works on Low Speed.
I’ve checked the pump basket and nothing is blocking it. No bubbles on the pump basket. Filter pressure is okay. All I hear is clicking sound as if the pump is trying to kick in on High Speed.

anyone have experienced this? appreciate any clue on what’s going on. Thank you

I would give Hayward a call. They'll likely know, but more importantly you can register your pump and/or start the warranty process if that's where you're going to end up. You don't want to try any DIY fixes while under warranty anyway, which could end up voiding it.

Thank you! Yes I’m sending an email to Hayward. I just thought there might be an easy fix so I don’t have to go through the lengthy warranty process

There may be. Others here might know... just don't disassemble anything yet until you hear from Hayward is all I was sharing...

Ok, then most likely there is something wrong with the motor. I would make a warranty claim. Anything you do could void the warranty.
