As I posted earlier it's fine either way. Yiu just need a way to throttle each line down theres a couple ways to skin this cat
Trench is dug. 3 2 way valves coming tomorrow. Decided I wanted this all done so I can leak check it before everything is covered Tuesday. Thank you all for the advice and help along the way.
So I plugged both skimmers and cut the line at the tee fitting and ran the second skimmer up to the pad. I cut out the 3 way valve and put in 3 2 way valves so each line could be controlled independently. This made an exponential difference in how the skimmers operate. I am now very happy with the suction at both. I am glad I decided to do the extra work digging up the connection to change this. @jimmythegreek

Congrats!!! It looks really great! I am sure your family appreciates all your hard work and now you can relax and enjoy it. We have a bunch of trees around our new pool and we are completely tapping out all of our chlorine each morning when I check it.

The beat setups have only 2way valves so you can control everything independently. Dont be scared to shut that main drain down to nothing it really helps the skimmers work better. Definitely worth the trouble to do it

John, did you connect the steel steps to your bonding grid?

Bonding wire going in this weekend now that the backfill and some paver base is down. Step will be connected at 2 points per my conversation with the electrical inspector.
Hello everyone, it has been a while. The mrs had several surgeries so everything got put on hold for a while, but we are back on track now. It is just about done, there is some detail work and a lot of cleanup left to do, but inspections are finished as of yesterday. The pavers were a lot more work than I anticipated, luckily I had 5-6 friend travel to me to help get this done.

Thank you. There are some dips and humps in the paver work I need to fix but overall for my first time doing pavers I think it is respectable. Taking a little time off before building the outdoor kitchen/bar areaWelcome back and I cannot stress this enough.

Yeah with the setbacks it seemed like the permits would expire first. But thanks to good friend that came from out of state it all came together with 2 weeks to spare. Nothing like cutting it close. Lol.
Looks good nice job. Plenty of time to do the add ins, take a break.
