Trying my hand at mushroom, onion and cheese omelet cooked on the griddle. Mine can never look like in the restaurant but it has great flavor. Happy Easter to all :cheers:C43284C2-D051-4267-B219-C38BC63F8821.jpeg

Now I just really want a griddle. Thinking about getting one of those that go on top of the grill, but I dont think they have the same kind of magic.
If you have the room get a dedicated griddle. About 90% of All food served at a restaurant is cooked on a griddle. Research as there are many griddles and all serve different wants and needs. Let me know if I can help

Steak burgers tonight. I grind my own beef - chuck, rib meat scraps, and bacon. I made them nice and thick, almost 1/2lbs each. A little grilled red onion for flavor. And @Arizonarob will appreciate the use of heavily-waxed, landfill incompatible, virgin Brazilian rainforest sourced paper plates .... only the best in single-use, non-disintegrating, disposable plates for my burgers ?

No, in the oven. I think I may ditch my air fryer. This one that I got from Costco (Gourima) back in November always leaves a “burned plastic” odor around when I use it. It was only $40 so I suspect it’s just cheaply constructed. The instruction manual said it was normal at startup and would go away with use. It never has. So I don’t like to use it and, honestly, aside from French fries, it doesn’t really do anything for me that’s spectacular. And it takes up a huge amount of room I’m my kitchen. Maybe someday I’ll splurge for a higher end machine but, as for now, it’s just a dust collector in my kitchen pantry closet.

This is the one I have but you can get it on sale on Black Friday for about $30. It is very simple and works great for us. We use it a lot as you can see from my posts

We are just making more and more stuff we normally dont do because, well, we are bored.

I normally travel every week for work, and I have noticed my wine cellar is emptying at a greater than normal rate because I am home so much. Going to have to put in a big order today.
