Jandy making noise, video link

Sounds like a bad motor bearing.

What model pump is it?

Post pics of the data plates on the motor and pump.

It's a Jandy variable speed pump.

It sounds like bad bearings. Maybe from a seal leak.

It's hard to tell, but it looks like the area is not well maintained, which can lead to excessive moisture buildup and corrosion.

You might have a seal leak or a leak that hits the motor.

Maybe replace the bearings and see if that helps.

Thank you everyone
I think I’m gonna get a qualified person to replace seal/bearing. Any idea round about the price I should be paying for a job such as this in central FL?

or would it be cheaper to get a new motor

Good luck finding someone to replace the bearing. That is not something that can be done in the field. So paying someone to remove the motor, take it to a shop, replace the bearings, installing the motor may be greater then installing a new motor. Get some quotes before you start down a path.

upon research it seems replaced bearings don’t last long, true?

All depends on the quality of the work and if they properly replace the seals so there is no water leakage into the motor.

Sorry one more question
Is there a way to see if perhaps the ventilation fan at the back is the cause of the noise?
I removed the fig plant and got closer to the motor and notices the noise from the back of the unit , thinking of popping open the vent fan
