The area behind the pool was graded ridiculously and heavy rain would dump mud into the pool. My kids also requested steps so they could maneuver over the rockscape a little easier. I added more rocks and a small retaining wall to address both issues.

Also on the list was a complete redo of the sprinkler valves. I used commercial globe style valves because I was having water hammer issues... the static pressure to the house spikes up to180 PSI???

The pressure reducer is doing its job... for now

That seems unlikely.

How are you measuring that?

I put a gauge on the plumbing before the reducer when I was trying to troubleshoot the water hammer issue. The average pressure is probably around 120 psi but there are definite spikes throughout the day - 180 was the highest the gauge registered.

The incoming water line is 1-1/4" and reduces from there. I had to replumb this manifold when I changed out the pressure reducer so I have an intimate connection to my water supply.

There are plumbing issues throughout our entire neighborhood. Every house on our street has had at least one leak inside their house in the last year, 3 of them re-piped...

The stone is nothing special but I guess that's the lead time for the manufacturer to make it.

If you ever need any custom metal work, you can use the garden hose as a water jet cutter. I'm pretty sure that 180 psi will cut through 1" tungsten plate.

You typically need clearance from the FAA and Space Command before launching projectiles that high....just sayin’ ... don’t want the Russians mistaking any of those sprinkler heads for hyper-sonic nukes ....
