What's your current pool temp?

Yeah anybody know how to cool a pool down? Lol
You need a fountain to cause evaporation to take heat out of your water. Inverse concept to a solar cover preventing evaporation to retain heat. I used a 2" PVC pipe hooked up to my return threads and drilled a bunch of holes to spray into the pool. It only cost me about $15 and 30 min of time to build to get my pool cooling off by 8-10 degrees in the middle of summer. You will obviously have to add water more frequently. Run your solar heater at night if you have one but a fountain is a cheap solution.

Thanks I'm sure my husband can make one. He already has the pvc stuff left over from changing out our filter
Here is my "design". Not the greatest looking but it does the job and my wife says she likes the tranquil noise of the fountain. I drilled smaller holes pointing down to help it still skim but I will have to say the pool does not skim as well with the fountain in versus the normal return jet.

Went for my morning swim this am. I noticed that it is just not as "refreshing" as I would like it to be now. With our ambient air temps consistently in the 100+"teens" now and not cooling off so much at night, water temp is not as nice as I would like it.
This morning, this was the pool temp. Water temp will be closer to 90 degrees by late afternoon.
